Birthday!!

So last weekend was my daughters birthday party.
I decided to bake my own red velvet cake as it was her first birthday and I wanted to do it on my own.I got the recipe on  Chef Raphaels recipie
I made it the night before the party to give it time to cool down, furthermore hot is not as sweet.I also used a slightly red food color thus the appearance but the taste was fantastic.
The icing backfired on me as the whipping cream didn't Turn fluffy and made light in short, it became a nit more runny than i anticipated.
I had to improvise fast as a quick trip to the supermarket turned out futile.
It was delicious!!!
